The positive vibes in the group, with everyone sharing a story for the trip’s purpose, were the highlight since day 1. We felt as if we knew each other since a long time. It was a challenging experience with a lot of memories and new friendships.

The ferry ride through valleys is something else – breathtaking – and you share the boat with locals who get off seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The hiking is amazing – most of the time we had the trails to ourselves, bar the most famous Valbone – Theth pass. It’s gorgeous. I loved staying in the different valleys and the food was organic and super yum – always soup, salads, and some form of meat or fish or vegetarian.

We laughed, we cried, we danced, and we celebrated together. And finally, I would like to express my gratitude to our leader guide Jean for his positive attitude and support and everything he has done.

They delivered everything they promised and more. The guest houses choices were excellent, offering comfortable and charming accommodations. Jean and Stef were incredibly helpful, friendly, patient, and just awesome, making sure all our needs were met. During these 8 days, I felt like I was among family, surrounded by the most breathtaking sceneries I’ve ever seen. It was one of the best hikes of my life, and it certainly won’t be my last trip with them. I highly recommend Sports Guru; the price of the trip was more than fair for the incredible sights we saw and the great places we stayed.

It is very well organized, everything was communicated ahead (no surprises). The people I met were incredibly amazing. It is a must trip for anyone who is genuinely looking to reconnect with themselves and nature. You can count on Jean for having the best experience ever. More is coming

tasks of carrying a heavy backpack, organizing accommodation, transport and meals, checking into refuges etc and simply allowed me to fully enjoy every moment of the trek.

From the moment we stepped in Nepal we hadn’t to worry about one single thing. The visit to Kathmandu and Pokhara were very interesting and boosting before heading to the mountains. The adventure on the trek was hilarious. We had 3 Nepalese guides along with Jean. They were very kind and insightful. The vibes we’ve created, the bond and moments we lived were on another level. We went as strangers and came back as one family.

We faced some problems, but he resolved them promptly. It was great that both slow and fast walkers had their own guides, ensuring no one felt rushed. Everyone could enjoy the hike at their own pace, taking breaks and photos as needed. I definitely recommend The Sports Guru as a company and I’m happy that my first hiking trip experience was with the best!

Everything was meticulously planned, leaving me with nothing to worry about except soaking in the breathtaking views and experiences.
