Iceland Multi-Adventure Tour
July 2026
The trip to Iceland was truly the best trip of my life! Everything was perfectly organized, and every destination and experience was absolutely unforgettable. Iceland completely exceeded my expectations from its breathtaking waterfalls and black sand beaches to its glaciers, volcanoes, and stunning landscapes. Every day felt like stepping into a different world. A special thank you to Jean, our team leader, who was incredibly caring, attentive to every detail, and always made sure everything ran smoothly. His support and positive energy made the experience even more enjoyable. What made this adventure even more special was the amazing people I shared it with. I came back not only with incredible memories of Iceland’s beauty but also with new friendships that I truly value. Thank you, The Sports Guru, for an unforgettable adventure, I can’t wait for the next one!

itinerary
Touch down in Iceland, we will pick you up from the airport, and take you to the capital. After check-in, we gather for a team briefing and a nice dinner to set the tone for the journey ahead.
We will step into Iceland’s most iconic route: marveling at majestic waterfalls, snorkeling in the crystal glacier waters between tectonic plates, watching geyser erupt, and walking on the edges of a volcano crater.
We venture into the otherworldly landscapes of Landmannalaugar. We will be Spending the day hiking among rhyolite mountains, lava fields, and steaming vents, then end with a soak in natural hot springs.
We start our day with discovering more gigantic waterfalls, then we ride Icelandic horses on black sand beaches and we end the day walking the dramatic Reynisfjara beach and looking out for puffins from the Dyrhólaey cliffs.
Today is a day to discover and know more about glaciers. We begin with a guided glacier hike. Then we will head to the most famous diamond beach to witness icebergs sparkling in the water. After that we will explore a few glacier lagoons hoping to spot some seals, and end the day with a zodiac boat ride among floating giant icebergs.
On the way back west, we stop at one of Iceland’s most picturesque canyon. We Continue to another park for a short hike along mossy and very scenic trails, surrounded by dramatic ridges, gorges, and secret valley views. We return to Reykjavík in the evening.
We will spend the morning exploring Reykjavík’s colorful streets. For those who want more adventure, whale watching can be arranged (weather permitting, extra cost). In the afternoon, we close our trip with a rejuvenating soak at one of the island’s most famous lagoons.
After a week of unforgettable adventure, it’s time to say goodbye. Depending on your flight time, enjoy a relaxed morning in the city. Until next time, Iceland!

July–August in Iceland is summer at its most: cool, bright, and wonderfully unpredictable. Expect long daylight hours with quick shifts from sunshine to misty drizzle and a steady breeze; typical daytime highs hover around the low-to-mid teens °C, cooler in the Highlands and warmer on the rare calm day. You’ll want layers—light insulation, a windproof/waterproof shell, and quick-dry basics—so you’re comfortable whether you’re strolling Reykjavík, chasing waterfalls on the South Coast, or hiking volcanic trails. Don’t worry—we’ll give you a detailed packing checklist so you have everything to cover you for all kinds of possible weather conditions.
Iceland is part of the Schengen area and a Schengen visa is required to enter the island.
Visa requirements depend on your nationality and the length of your stay:
Important: Every traveler is responsible for obtaining the correct visa before the trip. The Sports Guru is not responsible for any entry issues on the day of travel.
Throughout the journey, we’ll stay in cozy, comfortable, and carefully selected 4-star hotels around the island—many of them boutique properties set right in the heart of nature. Think warm Nordic interiors, plush beds, hearty breakfasts, and welcoming local hospitality. Several of our stays sit amid lava fields or quiet fjords, so you can truly soak up the serenity and peace of Iceland—perfect for unwinding after a full day of adventure.
