Arrival and Welcome to the Dolomites
We arrive at Venice Marco Polo International Airport, where our mountain adventure begins. After meeting our fellow travelers, we’ll transfer to the Val Gardena area — one of the most scenic valleys in the Dolomites. we settle into our alpine accommodation, enjoy a detailed trip briefing, and share our first dinner together as a group.
Alpine Meadows and Panoramic Trails
After breakfast, a short transfer and a scenic cable car ride take us up to Alpe di Siusi, the largest high-altitude meadow in Europe. Today’s hike follows a panoramic circuit across gentle alpine pastures surrounded by the majestic Sassolungo and Sciliar peaks — a perfect introduction to the Dolomites’ beauty. In the afternoon, we transfer back to our hotel for a well-earned rest and dinner.
Forest Paths and Dramatic Peaks
We begin the day with a transfer to the trailhead beneath the striking Odle (Geisler) Mountains. The trail winds through pine forests and flower-filled meadows, offering breathtaking views of the jagged peaks towering above. It’s a classic Dolomites experience — peaceful, scenic, and full of variety. In the afternoon, we return to our hotel for another relaxing evening.
High Ridges and Alpine Horizons
This morning, we take a short transfer and cable car up to Seceda, one of the Dolomites’ most photographed viewpoints. Today’s trek follows the high ridgeline, revealing endless alpine panoramas and dramatic cliffs. After descending, we transfer to Cortina d’Ampezzo, the “Queen of the Dolomites,” where we’ll spend the second half of our adventure.
Peaks, Passes, and Alpine Charm
A short morning transfer takes us to Passo Giau, a high mountain pass surrounded by stunning rock formations. Our trail leads through open meadows and around an alpine lake, offering some of the region’s most spectacular views. In the afternoon, we return to Cortina, where you’ll have free time to explore the town, browse local shops, and enjoy dinner at your leisure.
From Mountain Refuges to Iconic Formations
We start the day with a scenic cable car ride up to one of the most iconic Rifugios in the Dolomites area, perched high above the valley. Today’s hike descends through dramatic wartime tunnels and open alpine terrain before looping around the iconic Cinque Torri rock towers. In the afternoon, we return to Cortina to relax, shop, and savor another evening in this charming mountain town.
Towering Landscapes and Alpine Lakes
After breakfast, we transfer to the trailhead for the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo circuit — one of the most iconic hikes in the Dolomites. This panoramic loop offers awe-inspiring views of the three towering peaks from every angle. In the afternoon, we continue to the turquoise waters of Lago di Braies, where you can stroll along the lakeshore and take in the breathtaking scenery. Later, we return to Cortina for some free time and our final group dinner.
